I have been crocheting for more than 30 years! I absolutely love to create everyday ordinary items using cotton yarn. I am here to share my love of yarn and ordinary things with the Etsy community.

Some time ago, (back in high school) we are tasked with learning how to crochet a Christmas stocking. The problem that I ran into was that our teacher was right-handed and had no idea how to help a left-handed person (me) crochet, as when we
begin the stitches they would come out backward.

So I took my problem home to my mom (who was right-handed) but figured out how to help me. After dinner that night, we got all of our crochet supplies and sat on the living room floor, facing each other, this way when she taught me the stitch it came out correctly instead of backward! This was the beginning of my love for crochet. And as they say...... the rest is history. :) P.S. I got a passing grade on my stocking assignment.

I especially enjoy making things that are used every day into things that are more decorative and allow the user to show off some of their personality like, a coffee cup cozy or a pot holder in their favorite color. After all, it is the little things in life that bring us the most joy.

My hope is that you will find something in my shop that will allow you to show off some of your personality while making the everyday chore a little more joyful.
